Wally J. Irish, Jr.
President & Founder

I am a lifelong resident of Manchester. I attended Manchester High School, Manchester Community College and Central Connecticut State University.

I became an independent insurance agent in 1972 and in 1976, I established The W. J. Irish Insurance Agency. I am a proud member of both the Independent Insurance Agents Association of Connecticut and the Professional Insurance Agents of Connecticut. I have been privileged to hold various positions of leadership in each organization.

Amanda "Aimee" Parlante

I am a licensed insurance agent and a Connecticut Notary Public who has been working with The W. J. Irish Insurance Agency since 1998. My specialty lies in commercial lines business insurance. I strive to provide timely, professional customer service and accurate information to each and every client.

I reside in Ellington with my wonderful husband and son. When I am not servicing clients, I enjoy playing golf, shooting pool, and spending time with my family. Please give me a call or stop by the office to discuss your commercial insurance coverage plan.

Maureen Carr

I am a licensed agent specializing in personal business lines of insurance. I have been with The W. J. Irish Insurance Agency since February 2002, and I have worked in the insurance field for 20 long years. I handle everything related to personal line insurance, including rate quotes and policy changes. Most of my experience involves working in agencies, so feel free to call anytime to arrange a consultation.

I am married and have 2 beautiful daughters. I have resided in Manchester all my life, and most of my summer weekends are spent at the Cape sailing or kayaking.

Denise Kana

I am the bookkeeper of The W. J. Irish Insurance Agency, and although I have only been with the company since March 2007, I have been in the bookkeeping field for well over 30 years.

I reside in Windsor Locks with my husband and daughter. When I am not working I enjoy traveling with my family, going to the beach and relaxing with a good book.
